so in the last month....rockin' in school so far this semester. Joined the OK Victory Dolls roller derby team. Received dance lessons for me and jason for v-day today and tonight is the ballet, Paris Rouge.

other than that...not much is going on! My office is a damn mess...i havent had time to bake any cupcakes. I cant stand my sister. Sometimes I wish Jason and I lived in another state. Decided to go straight through and finish all of school, through a PhD.

So I just found out last week that a local roller rink has sunday night ADULT ONLY skating...what does that mean to me? No kids to trip over. So Kristy and I went to brush up on some skating skills since we havent gone since October (she had her gallbladder removed and school got in to MEGA full swing so the time just wasnt there). So we get there and put our skates on and skate for a bit and sit to rest because OMG its been 2 1/2 months! We are watching these people there, a total of about 10 maybe, and they are roller dancing. How freakin awesome let me just tell you...

There is a mega diff between people tht are roller dancing and girls that are out there practicing derby skating. Fluid vs. Speed really

I was totally impressed...we were both so totally envious of them! LOL But saw that the key to continuous speed is crossovers, forward and backwards. CROSSOVERS CROSSOVERS CROSSOVERS! That is my goal...by the end of the week to be pretty damn close to doing them! LOL

Cheap Skate on Wednesday night here we come!
